World of Outlaws History:
Tyler Erb made his debut with the World of Outlaws in 2016 after an impressive 2015 season with the P&W Sales SUPR series. In 2016, Erb had his best run at Rockford Speedway where he finished one spot shy of snatching the win. Along with his one top-five finish he gathered 10 top-10 finishes, one heat win and one Last Chance Showdown win.

Other Racing History: Erb started his racing career at 14 years-old, competing in the Hobby Stock division regionally. The next year, Erb raced open-wheeled modifieds, but it was not until May 2012 when he took over the driving duties of his father's super late model. In just his fourth start he claimed the Super Late Model feature win at Jones Motor Speedway (La.). The next two seasons, he racked-up eight more wins.

We’re the best for sure. As far as the Outlaws, you have Josh [Richards], [Shane] Clanton, [Rick] Eckert… you have really great drivers. And even some guys in ninth and tenth in points can win some races. They’re the best of the best and if I can run with them consistently than that should make it better. That’s all I want to do.”

What type of music do you listen to when you’re traveling from track to track?

“Probably trap-rap or rock but a lot of rap music. I like hard core gangster Gucci Mane-type music. I’m always traveling with my crew guy, and he likes to listen to that weird country rap called Hick-Pop. It’s terrible. It’s literally the worst music I’ve ever heard. So if I’m driving I control the radio... Unless I’m asleep that’s what is playing.”
