World of Outlaws Late Model Series Adds 2013 Dates At Duck River Raceway Park & Fonda Speedway

CONCORD, NC – Jan. 11, 2013 – The record-breaking 2013 World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule continued its expansion Friday with the announcement of first-ever visits to Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tenn., and Fonda (N.Y.) Speedway.

Duck River is set to host the WoO LMS on Sun., March 24 – anchoring a tripleheader weekend that also includes events in Arkansas and Mississippi – while Fonda's date on Wed., June 19, will kick off an early-summer swing through the Northeast for the national tour. Both tracks will present 50-lap A-Mains paying $10,000 to win.

Lanigan Collects $100,000 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Championship Check For Second Time At Sunday's Awards Banquet

CONCORD, NC – Nov. 4, 2012 – Darrell Lanigan's dream season on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series officially came to a close on Sunday night.

The 42-year-old star from Union, Ky., was crowned the 2012 champion of the renowned national tour – and collected a $100,000 points-fund check – during Sunday's annual WoO LMS 'Night of Champions' Awards Banquet at the Great Wolf Lodge.

Lanigan rewrote the circuit's record book en route to becoming the second two-time WoO LMS titlist since 2004. He established new standards for wins in a single season (15), consecutive victories (six) and alltime triumphs (41), leaving the typically reserved driver even more at a loss for words.

Lanigan Celebrates 2012 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Championship

Darrell Lanigan clinched his second career World of Outlaws Late Model Series title on Thursday when he signed in for Kellogg's Qualifying Night of the PEAK Motor Oil World of Outlaws World Finals Presented by NAPA Auto Parts at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, but his official crowning came at the conclusion of Saturday night's 50-lap A-Main.

Union, Ky.'s Lanigan wasn't satisfied with his third-place finish in the season finale, but hoisting the WoO LMS championship trophy on the winner's stage raised his spirits.
