Lanigan Focused On Returning To 'Dream' Victory Lane This Weekend (June 8-9) At Eldora Speedway

Nine Years After $100,000 Triumph, World of Outlaws Late Model Series Points Leader Carries Major Momentum Into Rich Event

By Kevin Kovac, WoO LMS P.R. Director

ROSSBURG, OH – June 8, 2012 – Darrell Lanigan is tired of ringing up close-but-no-cigar finishes in the Dirt Late Model Dream by Ferris Commercial Mowers since earning his lone triumph nearly a decade ago.

The 'Bluegrass Bandit' dearly wants another $100,000 triumph at Eldora Speedway – and if current momentum and recent performance in crown-jewel events at the famed half-mile mean anything, his return to the Dream's Victory Lane stage could very well come with the running of the DIRTcar UMP-sanctioned race's 18th edition this weekend (June 8-9).

By Kevin Kovac, WoO LMS P.R. Director

CONCORD, NC – June 5, 2012 – Kent Robinson grew up idolizing Steve Kinser – not a surprise, of course, considering the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series legend hails from Robinson's hometown and is a longtime family friend.

So it's going to be a pretty big deal for Robinson, a 2012 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Rookie of the Year contender, to provide the car in which Kinser will make the first dirt Late Model start of his storied career on Wednesday night (June 6) at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The King will compete in the 'Feed The Children' Prelude to the Dream, the eighth annual charity race that also features stars from NASCAR, IndyCar and NHRA.

World of Outlaws Late Model Series Visits West Virginia's I-77 Raceway Park For First Time On Sunday Night (May 27)

Completely Refurbished Facility Will Greet National Tour's Travelers At End Of Big Three-Race Holiday Weekend Swing

By Kevin Kovac, WoO LMS P.R. Director

RIPLEY, WV – May 24, 2012 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will visit I-77 Raceway Park for the first time this Sunday night (May 27) – and for virtually all of the national tour's travelers, it will represent new territory.

But even if World of Outlaws stars had previously raced at the Mountaineer State track, they might not recognize it when they arrive for the 50-lap 'Ripley Race Fest' spectacular. That's how dramatically the facility has been rebuilt for the 2012 campaign.

Wisconsin's Doar Hopes For Season-Turning Run In 'Jackpot 100' On May 26 At Tyler County Speedway

$25,000-To-Win World of Outlaws Late Model Series Spectacular Highlights West Virginia Oval's 'Bullring Bonanza' Weekend

By Kevin Kovac, WoO LMS P.R. Director

MIDDLEBOURNE, WV – May 21, 2012 – Normally a driver from Wisconsin wouldn't look toward a track in West Virginia to turn around a moribund season, but Pat Doar is doing just that as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series heads to Tyler County Speedway this Saturday night (May 26) for the inaugural 'Jackpot 100.'

The quarter-mile Mountaineer State oval was, of course, very good to Doar last year. The 2011 WoO LMS Rookie of the Year's first-ever visit for September's 'Black Diamond 125' resulted in a 40-lap Qualifying Feature win worth $10,000 and a solid seventh-place finish in the 45-lap 'Sweet Sixteen' finale, giving him reason to believe that a return to Tyler County could bring an end to his frustrating sophomore slump on the national tour.
